and your stay, as well as contact details. We ask you to read the information and follow 
the instructions and guidelines intended to contribute to everyone’s comfort and well-being.

The key to the building is in the coded key box located to the left of the entrance door; 
you will receive the code from Team Hemservice. 
The apartment door locks when it is closed, so always check that you have the key with you 
before closing the door. 
Remember to leave the key in the box upon departure.

Obligations and Responsibility

  • Take good care of the apartment and follow the house rules, instructions, and regulations that apply
  • Pets are not allowed in the apartment
  • Smoking is not allowed
  • As a guest, show extra consideration for neighbors by, among other things, behaving kindly, using good judgment, and avoiding disturbing noise between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM
  • You are responsible for any damage that occurs in the apartment and to furnishings due to you or someone in your party being negligent.
  • The number of occupants may not exceed the number of beds.
  • Towels provided in the apartment may only be used indoors—not on sun loungers, not by the pool, and not at the beach. Bring your own beach towels for the pool and beach
  • Trash is disposed of at the area waste station “Basuran,” located about 200 m from the apartment.
  • When you come out onto the street from our apartment, walk downhill to the left about 70 m where there is a crosswalk with a staircase leading down to the street below; follow it down and to the right around the bend about 130 m where you will see “Basuran.” See attached map to “Basura” and pool
  • Do not leave food scraps indoors or outdoors; it attracts pests.
  • AC for cooling/heating is available in the hallway and living room. 
    For them to work optimally and to keep electricity consumption from becoming too high, it is important to always turn the units off when you are not in the apartment and to keep all doors 
    and windows closed when they are switched on.
  • The awning must always be rolled in when you leave the apartment, so it doesn’t get torn apart by the wind, as winds can quickly pick up.
  • The grill must always be cleaned after use; tools and cleaning supplies are under the grill.
  • If the gas runs out, there is an extra gas cylinder in the storage room on the terrace.
  • NOTE! We are especially careful with our curtains, so we ask you to be careful when they are used; only the curtains in the bedroom may be used.  
    We have blocked the curtains in the living room because people have been careless with the curtains and torn them several times.
  • IMPORTANT: Please be mindful of water consumption. Many regions in Spain have a severe shortage of groundwater, and it is our shared responsibility to save as much as we can when we visit this wonderful country. Thank you for your understanding!

Good to know

Pool: In the area there is a large shared pool with showers, sun loungers, and umbrellas. 
The season runs from Easter week to October 31; it is open 10:00 AM–8:00 PM.  It is about 250 m to the pool. 
When you come out onto the street from our apartment, walk downhill to the left about 70 m where there is a crosswalk with a staircase leading down to the street below. Follow it about 180 m, where you will find a staircase down to the pool on the left side of the road. “Basuran” is just before that on the right side.

Please respect the pool rules, which can be read at the pool area. 
Parking: Free parking is available throughout the area. 
Nerja Center: A bus stop is at the roundabout; it costs €1, cash only. 
The bus runs once an hour. 
It is a little over 3 km from the apartment to Nerja Center; it takes about 35 minutes to walk. 
A taxi costs about €8 depending on the time of day. 
Beaches: The nearest beach is Playa Guilche, just below to the right of the roundabout; see attached map, about 700 m from the apartment. El Playazo begins there and stretches all the way to Nerja.

living room. 
Electrical panel - RCD (residual current device) - circuit breakers are behind the large painting in the hallway. 
Water shut-off is in the cabinet to the right outside the front door.

Upon Departure

  • Take out the trash
  • Wash dishes and put them away in the cupboards
  • Make sure kitchen cupboards are tidy; place items back in their original location.
  • It is okay to leave coffee, tea, salt, spices, and unopened packages such as e.g. crackers,
  • crispbread, cereal in the cupboards, but not fresh goods and food items.
  • Put used laundry on the bathroom floor so the cleaning staff know what should be washed.
  • Lock all sliding doors out to the terrace
  • Turn off the AC units
  • Report any damage or issues to the rental company.
  • The awning must be rolled in
