The key to the house is in the coded key box located to the left of the entrance door;
you will receive the code from Team Hemservice.
The apartment door locks when closed, so always make sure you have the key with you
before you close the door.
Remember to leave the key in the box upon departure.

Obligations and Responsibility

  • Take good care of the apartment and follow the house rules, instructions, and regulations that apply
  • Pets are not allowed in the apartment
  • Smoking is not permitted
  • As a guest, be extra considerate of neighbors by, among other things, behaving kindly, using good judgment, and avoiding disturbing noise between 23:00–07:00
  • You are responsible for any damage that occurs in the apartment or to furnishings if you or someone in your party has been careless.
  • The number of occupants must not exceed the number of beds.
  • Towels provided in the apartment may only be used indoors—not on sun loungers, not at the pool, and not on the beach. Bring your own beach towels for the pool and beach
  • Garbage should be disposed of at the area waste station “Basuran,” located about 200 m from the apartment.
  • When you reach the street from our apartment, go downhill to the left about 70 m to a crosswalk with stairs leading down to the street below; follow them down, then to the right around the bend about 130 m where you will see “Basuran.” See the attached map to “Basura” and the pool.
  • Do not leave food scraps indoors or outdoors; it attracts pests.
  • AC for cooling/heating is available in the bedrooms and in the living room.
    For them to work optimally and to keep electricity consumption from getting too high, it is important to always turn them off when you are not in the apartment and to keep all doors and windows closed when they are on.
  • The awning must always be wound in when you leave the apartment, so it does not get torn by the wind, as winds can quickly increase.
  • The grill must always be cleaned after use; tools and cleaning supplies are under the grill.
  • If the gas runs out, there is an extra gas cylinder on the terrace.
  • IMPORTANT: Please be sparing with water use. Many regions in Spain have a serious shortage of groundwater, and it is our shared responsibility to save as much as we can when visiting this wonderful country. Thank you for your understanding!

Good to know

Pool: In the area there is a large shared pool with showers, sun loungers, and umbrellas.
Code to the pool 1958#.
The season is from Easter week to October 31; it is open 10:00–20:00. See the attached map to “Basura” and the pool.
Please respect the pool rules posted at the pool area.
Parking: Free parking is available within the area.
Nerja Center: A bus stop is at the roundabout; fare is 1 €, cash only.
The bus runs once an hour.
It is a little over 3 km from the apartment to Nerja Center; it takes about 35 minutes to walk.
A taxi costs about 8 € depending on the time of day.
Beaches: The nearest beach is Playa Guilche, just below to the right of the roundabout; see attached map. El Playazo continues from there and stretches all the way to Nerja.
Instruction manuals for electronics and appliances are in the bottom drawer of the sideboard in the living room.

Upon Departure

  • Take out the trash
  • Wash dishes and put them away in the cupboards
  • Make sure everything is in good order in the kitchen cupboards; place items back in their original place.
  • It is okay to leave coffee, tea, salt, spices, and unopened packages such as crackers, crispbread, cereal in the cupboards, but not fresh goods and food items.
  • Place used laundry on the bathroom floor so the cleaning staff knows what needs to be washed.
  • Lock all sliding doors leading out to the terrace
  • Turn off the AC units
  • Report any damage or irregularities to Team Hemservice.
  • The awning must be wound in
